First: Donate! The fastest way you can personally help is to donate to the Afghan Education Peace Foundation. Your tax-deductible donation will go toward funding the tuition of an Afghan student in an American community college or university where they will learn the skills they need to rebuild their country.

Then, sign up to host a student. The host family/student bond is an integral part of AEPF’s program. Sharing quality time with your sponsored son or daughter will help ease his or her immersion in American culture. Your student will provide companionship, spark new interests in your family and help your own children develop an early appreciation for cross-cultural friendship. Families without children will fill their home with the laughter and warmth of a new son or daughter. Students enjoy exchanging ideas and customs with their new family.
